Elyte Gutter Cleaning is the dedicated gutter-care service from the established local family team behind Elyte Window Cleaning and Elyte Exterior Cleaning. Based near Ely, we provide reliable domestic gutter clearing throughout Cambridgeshire and West Suffolk.
Every property is treated with care by our uniformed, fully insured team. Using professional SkyVac equipment and high-reach carbon-fibre poles, we remove moss, leaves, silt and other debris safely from the ground wherever suitable.
Where gutters sit above conservatories, extensions or other difficult areas, each job is assessed individually before work begins. Accessible downpipe unblocking and exterior gutter, fascia and soffit cleaning are also available as separately priced services.

Leaves, moss and silt can gradually restrict the flow of rainwater through the gutter channel and into the downpipe. When water cannot escape properly, it may overflow onto fascias, brickwork, windows and paths.
Common warning signs include:
Water spilling over the gutter edges
Moss, plants or standing debris inside the gutter
Damp staining beneath gutter joints
Rainwater running down exterior walls
These signs do not always mean the guttering is damaged; it may simply need clearing or have an obstructed downpipe. Arranging an inspection before the problem worsens can help protect your property and prevent avoidable repair costs.
"Excellent service from start to finish. The team arrived on time, cleared a massive moss blockage out of our rear guttering, and cleaned up perfectly. Highly recommend."

Straight answers to common questions about gutter cleaning, pricing, access and what our service includes.
How much does domestic gutter cleaning cost?
Prices depend on the property size, number of storeys, gutter length, access, debris levels and whether downpipes require attention. We provide a clear quotation before work begins, with any exclusions explained in advance.
How do I know if my gutters need cleaning?
Common signs include overflowing water, moss or plants growing from the gutter, staining beneath joints and rainwater running down exterior walls. Some blockages show no obvious warning signs, making regular preventative clearance worthwhile.
Can you clear gutters above a conservatory or extension?
In many cases, yes. Our high-reach carbon-fibre poles allow us to reach difficult gutters safely from the ground. We require suitable access and normally need an accessible mains electrical socket for our SkyVac equipment.
How often should my gutters be cleared?
Most residential gutters benefit from being checked and cleared at least once each year. Properties surrounded by trees or affected by recurring moss and debris may require more frequent attention.
